We’re David and Josh, the brothers behind Mulch Indy.
We’re the kind of people who notice when a landscape bed looks unfinished. When the proportions feel off. When a few thoughtful changes could make the whole front of a home look better.
And once we see it, we start figuring out how we’d fix it.
That shared tendency is a big part of why we started Mulch Indy. We love taking something tired or overlooked and making it look GREAT.
It started with our dad.
Long before Mulch Indy had a name, we spent countless hours learning landscaping design and installation from our father, who owned a home improvement company in Bloomington.
Working alongside him, we learned how to look at a property, think through the design, and turn an idea into something real. How plants, bed shapes, mulch, and stone work together. And how much the little details matter when you step back and look at the finished job.
His company has since closed, but those hours together stayed with us. They shaped our eye for landscaping and gave us a foundation to build something of our own.
We put that experience to work through Mulch Indy.
